Upcoming Gear Reviews on deck
I have been meaning to get a few gear reviews up here for a while, but it's been pretty frenetic in my neck of the woods lately.
Hopefully by next week I will have the following posted:
1. Benchmade Onslaught / Benchmade Deja Voo review.
2.Vibram FiveFingers Bormio boots unboxing and initial thoughts.
3.CamelBak Tactical TriZip pack review
and most probably several pictures of my new kitten, Freya!
Until then, Peace and Happy Trails!

I want to RIDE my bicycle!
www.m55-bike.com
I read the description all the way through to the frame geometry specs and... All I've got to say is: I appreciate BICYCLES. in their purest form. The "bicycle" depicted herein, is an absolute conundrum of design and functionality.
If someone. Anyone! Buys one of these "bicycles", it will be a mantle-piece.
Yes, I realize that this is the Swiss-Watch of so called bicycle innovation, but WHY!?!?
Whatever happened to Sturmey Archer 3spds? Whatever happened to hub-polishers? Whatever happened to "riding" a bicycle?
Cycling was once a pure sport/leisure activity the non-horse-owning masses could enjoy.
-Sorry for the rant, but this "thing" hit a nerve as you can probably tell by now...
--as I used to tell a lot of my customers, " SHUT UP AND RIDE! The rest will follow!"

Back in the saddle again!
I decided to start this blog back up as a venue to share photos, nature experiences, and general adventures in the life of an outdoorsman/ machinist.
Brace yourselves this could get interesting!
